Underwood, Berdalia (Marriage - 1 May 1943)

May 1 was chosen by Miss Berdalia Underwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Underwood, of Dorchester, for her wedding day. Her marriage to Earl Schultz, son of Mrs. Mary Schultz, of Abbotsford, took place on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Lutheran parsonage in Medford. The Rev. Pauloweit read the service.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schultz of Abbotsford, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.

For the occasion the bride wore a light blue dress with blue accessories. Her attendant wore a dress of royal blue with black accessories. They both had shoulder corsages of roses and sweet peas.

A wedding dinner for the bridal party was served at the home of the bride’s parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Schultz are now at home on the farm of his mother, Abbotsford, Route 1.
