Beyreis, Ellen (Marriage - 24 May 1943)

Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Hegg are at home to their friends in Stanley, after spending a honeymoon in Chicago.

Their marriage took place on Monday morning, May 24, in Wauwatosa. The ceremony was performed by Judge Bark at 11:00 o’clock.

Mrs. Hegg, the former Ellen Beyreis, daughter of Mrs. Ed Beyreis, of Abbotsford, wore a beige dressmaker suit with dusty rose accessories and a corsage of white orchids.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hegg and Mr. and Mrs. James Masterson.

Following the ceremony a wedding luncheon was served at the home of the bride’s sister for 20 guests.

Before her marriage the bride was employed at the Coffee Shop here. Mr. Hegg, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hegg, Sr., of Mason, Wis., was bookkeeper at the local Northern States Power company office before his transfer to the Stanley office.
