Camp Bowie, Texas - Pfc. Howard H. Kramer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kramer, Route 1, Abbotsford, was promoted to the grade of corporal at Camp Bowie, Texas.

Cpl. Kramer was inducted into the army on August 5, 1942, at Milwaukee, and is now on duty with a station hospital unit.
