Huhn, Beverly Jean (1 Mar. 1938 - 26 Oct. 1943)

Beverly Jean Huhn, age 5 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Huhn, Milan, died at Mercy hospital, Janesville, Tuesday night.

Funeral services will be held at the home in Milan, Saturday, at 1:30 at the house and 2:00 o’clock at St. John’s Evangelical church. The Rev. David Grether of Colby will officiate. Internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Beverly was born March 1, 1938 at Milan. Having been blind since birth, she entered the School for the Blind at Janesville, Sept. 7, 1943. She had been in good health but was taken suddenly ill and the family was called. Mrs. Huhn arrived at Janesville, Monday, and Beverly died Tuesday night about 10:00 o’clock.

Surviving relatives are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Huhn, four sisters, Elaine, 12 years old; Irene, 11; Margaret, 8; and Joyce, 3, and the grandfather, Charles Huhn, of Colby, Wis.

The pallbearers will be four uncles: Olin Huhn, Marengo; Milton Huhn, Westboro; Neal Huhn, Colby, and Carroll Peterson, Waupaca.
