Mr. Huebscher came to America on July 2, 1882, and settled in Milwaukee where he lived for six years, serving as coachman for William Steinmeyer. He also drove ambulance for the old Passivant hospital, now known as Milwaukee hospital.

The daughter was brought to America by Anna Baltesbeger, who became his second wife on Feb. 11, 1883. She lived only until June 27, 1884.

On Nov. 11, 1885 he was married to Wilhelmina Wagner. One son, Henry Huebscher, Jr., of Milwaukee, and three step children, Gustave, Fred and Lydia Drews, survive from this marriage. The mother died Dec. 30, 1916.

In the summer of 1891 Mr. Huebscher traded his Milwaukee property for a farm in the Town of Holston and on July 23, moved there. During the years he was on the farm he was active in politics and served as supervisor of the town board for many years.

In 1917 he moved to the Village of Abbotsford, Wis. On June 18, of that year, he was married at Milan to Katherin Schlegel Hageman, who survives him.

There are also seven grand children and seven great grand children.

Mr. Huebscher served in the Swiss army for nine years and was a member of the Zwattserverein of Medford. He was an active member of the Lutheran church as long as he was able. Complications of old age caused his death, Tuesday afternoon, at 4:50.
