Miss Nila Mae Sterling, Wausau, was home for the Christmas week end.

Mrs. William Melvin came Sunday noon from Stevens Point, to stay until Tuesday after New Year’s with her sisters, the Misses Wanita and Lorraine Moen.

Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Reichersamer and boys spent Christmas day with her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mead, at Dorchester, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Moen, Stanely, spent Christmas here with their daughters.

The Misses Helen, Bernice, Grace and Lorraine Lundahl, of Evanston, Ill., arrived Friday to spend Christmas with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Lundahl. Helen returned on Tuesday and the others went back today.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Kuhnast and family spent Christmas at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Schoeneman at Wausau.

Donald Broeske, who attends a seminary in Springfield, Ill., arrived last Friday and will stay until New Year’s day with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Broeske. Mr. and Mrs. Armin Greunke and son, Marshfield, were also here with their parents for Christmas day.

Miss Dorothy Klitzke, who spent the Christmas holidays at the H. W. Wepfer home, returned to Oconomowoc today.

George Le Claire and Mr. and Mrs. Lars Thompson and children, Neillsville, spent Christmas at the home of Mrs. Julius Le Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Chet Knight and family spent Tuesday evening with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Lokken, near Curtiss.

A benefit card for the Veterans of Foreign Wars will be given Sunday evening, Jan. 7, at 8:45, at St. Mary’s gymnasium at Colby, Wis. Mrs. J. J. Youmans of the Knaack-Thompson Auxiliary of Abbotsford, will be hostess. There will be prizes at every table and the kind of a game you choose to play will be played. Lunch will be served.

M. C. Bunnell, Stevens Point, spent from Christmas eve until Tuesday at his home here.

M. C. Thompson, St. Paul, came Saturday night and remained until Monday at his home here.

Christmas day guests at the home of Dr. and Mrs. E. J. Schmidt were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Roth, of Packwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. William Roth and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Roth and daughter, Nancy, Colby; and Major and Mrs. W. Danielson and children.
