Greenwood (3 June 1971)

The Wednesday afternoon Bridge Club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Katherine Lindner.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath returned Tuesday from Green Bay, where they visited their son, Dale Vollrath, and family and attended the confirmation of their grandson, Terry Vollrath.

Mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth is spending several weeks with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Nielsen, at Oregon and with other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart attended the funeral of Mrs. Scotch Copper in Owen Wednesday afternoon.

Relatives and friends were entertained at a supper party Sunday and another group on Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kuester in celebration of her birthday.

Miss Monica Brux arrived home Wednesday after completing her freshman term at St. Norbert’s College in De Pere.

Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Erickson and son, Jared, of Pardeeville spent Wednesday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Erickson.

Calvin Franz is a patient at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire since May 17.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Bulgrin arrived from Amarillo, Tex., to spend their vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Albert.

T he Women’s Guild of Immanuel United Church of Christ has postponed its meeting from June 2 to June 9. Hostesses will be Mrs. Pacifico Camarin and Mrs. Fred Timmler.

Visitors from Friday until Monday at the home of Mrs. Lydia Dill were her children and grandchildren; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dill of Chicago, Gilbert Dill of Cedarburg and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dempsey of Milwaukee. They came to attend the Mitte-Engevold Wedding.

Mrs. Kenneth Stafford has returned from Neenah, where she spent three weeks at the home of her son, Kenny Stafford, and family.
