Leichtnam, Betty (Marriage - 11 Mar. 1945)

Marriage vows between Miss Betty Leichtnam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gorman Leichtnam and Marvin E. Lang, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Lang, Medford, were exchanged Sunday at the Lutheran parsonage at Medford. The Rev. D. E. Evans officiated at the 5:00 o’clock ceremony.

For the occasion the bride wore a navy blue suit with matching accessories and a shoulder corsage of pink and white carnations.

Attending the couple were the bride’s sister, Miss Margaret Leichtnam, and Harold Freck, of Medford.

Miss Leichtnam wore a suit of powder blue with matching accessories and corsage like that of the bride.

A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents, for the immediate families. A beautifully decorated cake made by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Armond Christopherson, and pink and white candles decorated the table.

Mr. and Mrs. Lang left on Monday for Wisconsin Dells where the young couple will live.

Before her marriage, the bride had been employed the past three years at Berger’s Northland Henneries. The groom is employed at Merrimac.
