Heggesta, Shirley (Marriage - 27 Oct. 1945)

Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Shirley Heggesta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Heggesta, of Madison, formerly of Abbotsford, to Ernest Larson, of Alma City, on Oct. 27.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Larson will be at home to friends on the groom’s farm near Alma City, after the first of the new year.

Mrs. Larson, the former Shirley Heggesta, became the bride of Chief Warrant Officer Ernest Larson, Alma City, at the Lutheran parsonage at Pidgeon Falls, Oct. 27.

The Rev. Christopherson read the service at 3:00 o’clock.

Attending the couple were the groom’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Larson. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Heggesta, of Madison.

The bride is a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, class of 1939. She was graduated from the Wausau Business school and for the past three years has been employed in the offices of Employers Mutual at Wausau.

The groom, now on terminal leave left for the service with the Neillsville National Guards. He served with the 32nd division in the South Pacific.
