Fischer, Eleanore (Marriage - 17 Nov. 1945)

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Fischer, Milwaukee, announce the marriage of their daughter, Eleanore, to Clarence Wiese, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wiese, of Abbotsford, at Milwaukee Saturday afternoon, Nov. 17.

For the occasion, the bride wore a navy blue suit with light blue hat and veil and gloves.

Her sister was her only attendant and she wore a yellow suit with matching accessories. Both wore shoulder corsages of rose and baby chrysanthemums, tied with a rosette of white ribbon.

The bride’s mother wore a jersey frock of black and white print and the groom’s mother wore a flowered jersey dress. Both wore shoulder corsages.

Following the ceremony a 5:00 o’clock dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents, to immediate relatives. An all white, three-tier wedding cake and yellow chrysanthemums formed the center piece on the bridal table.

A reception was held in the evening from 7:00 to 10:00 o’clock.

The bride is a bookkeeper at the Luick Dairy plant in Milwaukee and the groom is a cook at the Veterans’ Hospital at Waukesha.

Among those from Abbotsford who attended the wedding were the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wiese, his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Elfert, his sister, Miss Margaret Wiese, and Norbert Frederickson.
