Linsted, Otto J. (4 Feb. 1896 - 29 Dec. 1945)

Funeral services for Otto J. Linsted, 49, who died of a heart attack at Medford on Dec. 29, were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at Plughoeft & Hartwig Funeral Home with the Rev. Urlaub officiating. Burial was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

Pallbearers were Henry Wilhelmi, Abbotsford; James Peterson, Medford, Route 2; Edward Steffen, Rib Lake; and Emil Schwoch, Stetsonville.

Otto Linsted was born Feb. 4, 1896, in Chelsea, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Linsted. In 1919 the family moved to Abbotsford and lived on the place now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lapp on Highway 13. While here he was employed as machinist on the railroad. In about 1923 he left for Chicago and continued his work as a machinist. The past six years he made his home with his sister, Mrs. Otto Grundeman in Holton, Kansas.

On Nov. 15 he came from Kansas to visit his sister, Mrs. Fred Wilhelmi, here, and his sister, Mrs. Anton Roal at Medford. While at Medford he was stricken with a heart attack and within a half hour, died.

Besides his three sisters, he is survived by a brother, Fred Peche, Elmwood Park, Ill. His parents preceded him in death.
