Hackel, Jackie Lee (9 Aug. 1945 - 26 Dec. 1945)

Funeral services for Jackie Lee Hackel, four months old son of Mrs. Rose Hackel, of Medford, were held Saturday morning at 8:00 o’clock at the Holy Rosary Catholic church at Medford. The Rev. Gregory Reuter officiated at the Angel High Mass. Burial was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

Jackie Lee was born Aug. 9, 1945. At bed time on Wednesday evening Jackie Lee seemed his usual happy self. A few hours later he was found dead in his crib.

He is survived by his mother, the former Rosebud Sybeldon; sister, Carol Ann, 3; and brother, Danny, 2. His father, a marine, was killed in action on Iwo Jima.
