Armstrong, Allen Smith (26 Mar. 1861 - 21 Jan. 1946)

Funeral services for Allen Smith Armstrong, 85, who died here Monday afternoon, were held this afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby, Wis. Rev. M. B. Ferguson, Colby, officiated and internment was made in the Greenwood cemetery.

Mr. Armstrong was born in Onalaska, March 26, 1861. He had been a resident of Greenwood from the time he was 15 years old and was a logger and cruiser and real estate man.

The past few years he and Mrs. Armstrong made their home with their son in Stevens Point and came to Abbotsford in October of last year. He had been in ill health a number of years and died Monday afternoon.

He leaves his widow and one son, Don, and two grand sons, of Abbotsford, Wis. One son preceded him in death.
