Hansen, Harry O. #2 (6 FEB 1890 - 4 JUL 1950)

The body of Harry O. Hansen, 60, was found in the barn on his farm located in the Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), Tuesday evening, July 4th, 1950. His death was attributed to a heart attack with which he was stricken while at work.

Mr. Hansen was born in Walworth Co., Wis., on Feb. 6, 1890. On Feb. 2, 1916 he was united in marriage to Miss Alice Isabelle Wenzel of the Town of Hixon. She preceded him in death on May 3, 1945.

Surviving are his seven children. Two sons, Clifford and Francis of Owen; five daughters, Mrs. Albert (Laura) Jensen, Withee; Mrs. Jens (Dorothy) Delauskas, and Florence and Rosetta Hansen (only four daughters listed), all of Chicago.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. August (Carrie) Johnson, Waupaca, and Mrs. Arthur Harris, Weyauwega, and one brother, George of New York. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted from the Griebenow Funeral Parlors at two o’clock Friday afternoon with the Rev. Myron Glick officiating. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery. During the service music was furnished by Mrs. Herman Rabska and Bonnie Marking.

Pallbearers at the service were Wm. Maki, Arne Laakso, Arvo Sormumen, Dan Arola, Curtiss Blodgett and Floyd Bowen. Those in charge of the flowers included Mrs. William Maki, Mrs. Arno Laakso, Mrs. Dan Arola, Mrs. Curtiss Blodgett and Mrs. Floyd Bowen.

Among those from away here for the services were David and Leif Johnson, Waupaca, Wis.; Arthur and Geo. Harris, Iola, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Atkin, Wis. Rapids, Wis.; Mrs. Marion Lee, Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Lee and Ernest Lee, Chili, Wis.; and Mr. and Mrs. John Wenzel of Elk Mound.
