Heaseley, Lois K. (8 JUL 1950)

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Vasey, 323 Park Ave., Menomonie, Wis., was the scene of a pretty summer wedding, Saturday, July 8, 1950, when Lois K. Heasley of Holland, Mich. Was united in marriage to their nephew, Gail E. Beck of the University Extension Floral Horticulture staff, Madison, Wis., Rev. Duane S. Morscheck, Hawley, Minn., step-brother of the groom, officiated at the double ring ceremony. Lois is the daughter of Mrs. L. E. Heasley of Holland, Mich., and Gail, a son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Beck of Owen (Clark Co.), Wis.

A princess style, blush ivory gown with a long train, was worn by the bride. Her veil of French illusion was secured by a Juliet cap of matching lace, and she carried a bridal bouquet of white tuberous begonia and stephanotis with orange leaves. Her two attendants, Virginia Ann Heasley, sister-in-law of the bride, Grand Rapids, Mich., as matron of honor, and Alta Vasey of Menomonie, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid, were attired in identical gowns of ivory taffeta with accessories of pink and yellow respectively.

Roger Heasley, brother of the bride, Grand Rapids, Mich., was best man, and Neil Morse, Rochester, Minn., was groomsman. The groom and his attendants all wore dinner jackets, black tuxedo trousers and maroon bow ties.

Two cousins of the groom, the Misses Avis and Joann Harshman of Elk Mound, Wis., furnished music throughout the ceremony and reception which followed. Miss Avis, pianist, accompanied her sister, cellist, and also accompanied the soloist, Miss Jeanene Liddell, Grand Rapids, Mich., and Neil Morse, Rochester, Minn.

After the reception, the newlyweds left for points in Minnesota. They will make their home at 1932 E. Mifflin St., Madison, Wis.

Those attending from Owen and vicinity were: Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Beck and daughter Edna Mae, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Matthias and son Dale, Mr. and Mrs. Swan Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peterson, Abbotsford, Wis.
