Buss, Benjamin, Sgt. (27 JUL 1923 - 19 AUG 1950)

Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o’clock from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) for Sgt. Benjamin Buss. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, where military services were held. Services were conducted by a chaplain from his unit at Scott Field.

Serving as pallbearers were Lester Kalberg, Herbert Thess, Daniel Fredericks, Mike Lampi, Dale Matthias and Ralph Woik. Thos in charge of flowers were Mesdames Mike Lampi, Ralph Woik, Ed Kivviko, Prell Thompson, Nick LePage, and Miss Lillian Salo.

Sgt. Buss lost his life in an automobile accident near St. Louis, Mo., Saturday night.

Sgt Buss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank buss, was born July 27, 1923, in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.). He entered the service at the age of 18, and is a veteran of World War II. He re-enlisted in the Air Force and is unmarried.

Surviving him are his parents, a brother, Oscar, Owen; Harry, Manitowoc; and four sisters, Mrs. Art Sebald and Mrs. Paul Lindekugel, Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Elmer Redig, Spencer, and Mrs. Harry Kopp, Curtiss.
