The bride wore a winter white frock with a corsage of gardenias, baby roses and orange blossoms. A white satin and net halo effect trimmed with orange blossoms, baby roses and pearls was worn in her hair. She carried a white Bible.

Charles Nation gave his daughter in marriage.

Mrs. Harold Dake of Oakland was matron of honor, in a royal blue frock with brown accessories. Her corsage was formed of baby roses.

Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. Donald C. Gates played "Because" and "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin.
