H. B. Holmes thinks he has a steady job. He is a Clark county juror.

Charlie Moths is "making ready" for a new barn.

Arbor Day was observed in No. 4 by a general cleaning up of the premises.

Alonzo Brooks and son took a trip to Dexterville Saturday. Lou is the possessor of a new horse and buggy.

Milton Hoover is home from Merrill and somebody is very glad.

The old choppings in the southern part of the township burned over last week thus spoiling black berry prospects.

Miss Allie Hoover is at Grand Rapids and will visit Irma before returning.

Earl Brooks and Inez Holmes have graduated in the common school course and received their diplomas.

Pete Goeden celebrated his birthday Tuesday.
