Stark, Alfred #2 (18 MAY 1896 - 17 JAN 1951)

Alfred Stark, age 54, passed away Jan. 17, 1951 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Alma Doell in Appleton after a short illness. He was in failing health a long time.

He was born in the Town of Osborn, Seymour, Wis. He resided with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stark on the home farm 10 ½ miles northwest of Greenwood until nine years ago, when he and his sister, Alma, moved to Appleton where they made their home.

Being a veteran of World War I, military rites were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Stark and at the grave by the American Legion Post of Greenwood (buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in the Town of Warner).

He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Frank of Seymour; Alma Dell of Appleton; Mrs. Fred (Elsie) Tiedt of Hortonville; George of Greenwood and Robert of Granton.

His parents preceded him in death fourteen years ago.

Out of town relatives and friends who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stark of Seymour; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiedt and son of Hortonville; Mrs. Orvin Rieckmann of Dale; Mr. Wilmer and Raymond Tiedt and Mrs. Emil Doell of Appleton; Norman Tiedt of Camp McCoy; and Mrs. Fred Bruchert and son Leon of Withee.
