Funeral services will be held at 8 o’clock Saturday morning for Mrs. Clarence Mertens, age 18, who died suddenly at Doctor’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wednesday morning, June 13, 1951. Services will be conducted from the Holy Rosary Church, Owen, with Father Raymond Bornbach reading the burial service.

Mrs. Mertens was the former Helen Oats, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Oats of the Town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.). She leaves two children, a daughter, two and one-half years of age and one 18 month old son.

Friday evening at 8:30 a Rosary service will be said at the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin).
