Anderson, Dolly C. #2 (3 JAN 1894 - 8 NOV 1951)

Mrs. Ed Anderson of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who suffered a stroke on Oct. 25, 1951, succumbed to her illness on Nov. 8, 1951 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.

Funeral services were held Nov. 12, 1951 from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) at 2 o’clock with the Rev. Shaw officiating and burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born at Rome Ga., on Jan. 3, 1894, being 57 years, 10 months and 3 days old at the time of her passing. On Jan. 15, 1912 she was married at Rome, Ga. To Ed Anderson of Withee. Later she moved with her husband to Owen and then to a farm northwest of Withee, where she lived until being taken to the hospital on Oct. 25, 1951.

Two sons, Byron and Roy, preceded her in death. Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, Ed Anderson, one sister, Mrs. Grace Galin of Rome, Ga., and six daughters, Mrs. Rudolph (Agnes) Mengel of Owen; Mrs. Edward (Beatrice) Engel of Withee; Mrs. Alvin (Vivian) Gaurke of Owen, Mrs. Clarence (Lillian) Warnecke of Marshfield; Mrs. Alfred (Elaine) Gehrke of Owen and Mrs. Anton (Marcella) Luzinski of Lublin, and four sons, Howard of Withee and Roger of Owen; Leland in service at Camp Polk, La., and Harvey living at home, also seventeen grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Adam Michur, Lloyd Nerdrum, Harry Hansen, Ted Gay, L. R. Rosier and Tony Auberg.

Those in charge of flowers were Mrs. Otto Engel, Mrs. Adam Michur, Mrs. Lloyd Nerdrum, Mrs. Martin Paulson, Miss Anna Ristola and Miss Lucy Anderson.
