Freedlund, David C. (26 Aug. 1943 - 20 Apr. 2009)

David C. Freedlund passed away peacefully in his sleep, April 20, 2009, at the Barrett Adult Family Home in Loyal.

He was born August 26, 1943, to the late Norman and Donna (Davis) Freedlund. He enjoyed most of his life on the family farm in the town of Sherwood, Clark County. He liked being around the farm animals, helping with the chores and just being outside. In April 2007, his declining health necessitated that he have additional help and he went to live at the Clark County Health Care Center until February 2008, when he went to live with Jack and Judy Barrett.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, Ronald and Dale. He is survived by three sisters, Harriet (Arlan) Castner, Marshfield, Marlene, Wisconsin Rapids, and Wanda, Marshfield; and three brothers, Mahlon (Susan), Milwaukee; James (Carol), Vesper; and Lowell, Pittsville. He is further survived by seven nieces and one nephew.

Private graveside services will be held with burial in the town of Sherwood Cemetery.
