Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Young and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Topping and son Billie of Brooklyn, N.Y. autoed up Sunday for a short visit with Mrs. Young's brother Al, and George Flagg.

Most all the young people from here attended the Will Syth barn dance. They all report a fine time.

Last week an item was written and put in the J.S. news about some dog or dogs being killed. The correspondent wishes to state that they did not write it and so far have not heard of any dong being killed around here. -- Editor's Note-- The items was put in by Mr. Gemmeke.

Mrs. M. Dillenbeck, Mrs. Sue Popple and granddaughter Phyllis Popple of Janesville are visiting at R. Dillenbeck's and Mrs. F. Hatton's.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ozanich Sr. entertained company from Braun Settlement Sunday.

Herman Arberlies entertained Mrs. Arberlies' sister and husband from Chicago last week.

Mr. and Mrs. James Mercer of Marshfield called at C. Hatton's Sunday.

Mr. A. Davey is the proud owner of a cement silo.

Frank Zevnik of Willard was a business caller on C. Hatton Monday a.m.
