Miller, Norman (24 Oct. 1938 - 6 Sept. 1946)

Private funeral services for Norman Miller Jr., seven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Miller, who died early Friday morning of infantile paralysis, were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Abbotsford cemetery. The Rev. G. E. Griffiths officiated at the rites.

Norman was born in Abbotsford Oct. 24, 1938. He would have been in the second grade in school, but was taken ill on Tuesday and on Thursday morning was rushed to St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, where he died at 1:50 a.m. Friday, of the cerebral type of poliomyelitis.

He is survived by his parents, a brother, Walter, and sister, Donna, as well as his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mueller, Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Miller, Eau Claire.

Among the relatives who were here for the services were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Miller, Eau Claire, and their three daughters, Mrs. Berdie Ingersoll, Adams; Miss Nettie Miller, Greenwood; and Mrs. Ethel Borgenheimer, Eau Claire. Gordon Miller, of Wisconsin Rapids, was here on Friday.
