Yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Norwegian Church, Merel Cowles and Miss Laura Haugenson were united in marriage by Rev. Svanhoe. They went to housekeeping at once at the home they already have prepared on the north side. The wedding ceremony, followed by a supper, was attended only by the immediate relatives of the contracting parties. Mr. and Mrs. Cowles are popular young people in Neillsville and they have a host of friends who desire that not a ripple shall mar the surface of their marital sea.
