Garbisch, Bradley Dennis (19 September 1957 - 13 June 1971)

Bradley Dennis Garbisch, 13, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Garbisch of Rt. 2 Granton, drowned Sunday afternoon while on a family outing to Lake Arbutus at Hatfield in Jackson County. The body was recovered from 12 feet of water about 15 minutes after the boy waded into the water and disappeared. A doctor was at the scene but efforts to revive the youth failed. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 16, at 1:30 p.m. from Zion Lutheran Church at Granton with the Rev. Roland Roehrs officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery. The Gilbertson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Bradley Garbisch was born September 19, 1957, in Neillsville. He had recently completed the eighth grade at Granton Public Schools.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two brothers, Robert and Terry, and a sister, Tammy, all at home; his grandparents, Mrs. Helen Garbisch and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Keuer, all of Granton; and his great-grandmothers, Mrs. Anna Pischer and Mrs. Laura Keuer, also of Granton.
