Galbreath, Lulu B. (25 DEC 1907)

A very pretty wedding occurred on Christmas night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Galbreath, when their oldest daughter, Lulu Blanche, was married to Mr. Isaac Higgins of Sabin, Richland County. The bride is one of Clark County’s successful teachers and Mr. Higgins is one of Richland County’s successful farmers, honorable and upright in every respect, and has shown good taste in selecting a helpmate through life. Their many friends congratulate them most heartily. Rev. Wilson Mallory of Stevens Point performed the ceremony in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends of the family. The bride was dressed in cream colored cashmere. Miss Ethel, the bride’s sister, acted as bridesmaid, and Jesse Reed as best man. After the congratulations were given they all partook of a bountiful wedding supper. There were many valuable and useful presents bestowed upon the newly wedded couple. They took the train Friday morning for a short visit with the groom’s brothers in Reedstown and from there to Richland county where the groom has prepared a home for his young bride.
