Elsinger, Jerome L. #3 (23 JAN 1944 - 23 APR 2009)

Jerome L. Elsinger, 65, Spencer, Wisconsin, died on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at the House of the Dove Hospice Home in Marshfield. A memorial service was held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, April 28, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal. The Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel officiated. Inurnment followed in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Jerome Lee Elsinger was born on Jan. 23, 1944, in Greenwood, to John and Marion (nee Rueth) Elsinger. He was raised and received his education in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 1962. After completing his education, he worked at Pathfinder Homes, Spencer. He married Sandra Neumann on May 1, 1965. They later divorced. He was employed at Fleet Farm, Marshfield, and also at the Marshfield Cannery, for several years. Currently, he was employed at A&B Process Systems, Stratford. He had many interests, but especially enjoyed socializing and having a good time with family and friends, playing cards and hunting.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Sherri (Ron) Schuh, Spencer, Craig (Carmin) Elsinger, Spencer, Shane (Julie) Elsinger, Stoughton, and Blake (Kelly) Elsinger, Stratford; eight grandchildren, Cailee, Camron, Elijah and Aryiah Schuh, Morgan and Austin Elsinger, and Lee and Amelia Elsinger; six sisters, Carol (Jon) Fischer, Spencer, Janet (William) Erickson, Waunakee, Mary Tessmer, Olmsted Falls, Ohio, Karen (John) Nelson, Loyal, Shelby Schmitt, Marshfield, and Pamela (Tracy) Mews, Loyal; two brothers, Tom (Arnette) Elsinger, Menomonie Falls, and James (Maria) Elsinger, Loyal; and his special friend and companion, Judee Krueger, Spencer, her son, Nathaniel (Michelle) Krueger, and their children, Brandon, Kayla and Ariana, Unity, and her daughter, Naomi Krueger (Frank Cary) Unity, Wis.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Judy Elsinger Wann; and one brother-in-law, Warren Tesmer.
