Fuchs, Martha #2 (1865 - 30 DEC 1907)

Mrs. Frank Fuchs died Dec. 30th, 1907 at her home at Dallas, Oregon, after a long illness, the direct cause of her death being a tumor in her throat, which practically deprived her os speech for more than a year. Mrs. Fuchs was a former Clark County, Wis. girl, her maiden name having been Martha Haberland. She was born in Germany in 1865, and came with her parents to America in 1876. In 1897 she was married to Frank Fuchs and six years later went to Oregon to live. Her husband, daughter and four sons and her father, C. Haberland of Neillsville, a brother and three sisters survive her. The funeral was held Dec. 31st. Mrs. Fuchs had many close friends in this city who extol her for her womanly qualities and Christian and charitable inclinations. She was a loyal wife and a splendid mother.
