Deutsch, Amelia #2 (29 APR 1908)

Yesterday morning the marriage of Mr. Robert M. Chambers of Holcombe, Wis., to Miss Amelia Deutsch, was solemnized at the home of the bride’s parents on the north side (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.), Rev. Risser officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Holcombe took the noon train for Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls and from there will proceed to Lac du Flambeau, where the groom has a lucrative position as engineer. Mrs. Mary Chambers of Holcombe and Miss Dorcas Chambers of Poynette were here to attend the wedding.

Mrs. Chambers is one of Neillsville’s most favored daughters. She is a graduate of the high school, and is endowed with an intellectual capability and domestic attainments that cannot but assist in making her home pleasant and happy. The fact that he won Miss Deutsch for his bride speaks in most excellent terms for the groom. While Miss Deutsch was principal of the Holcombe schools, the acquaintance was made which resulted in a union, which all hope will prove a prosperous and contented one.
