Globe (11 May 1916)

Ed. Klueckman and wife entertained a nice crowd of young people at a Leap Year party Sunday evening. All present report a very good time.

Louie Quast and family called at the Fred Steinberg home Sunday.

Mrs. Herman Schoenherr and daughter, Henrietta, have been on the sick list for the past week.

A number from here took in the dance at Christie Friday evening.

Robert Bardeleben and wife called at the Henry Nemitz home Sunday.

Mrs. Clause Westphal and children are spending a week here with her home folks.

Linus Prock and family and Marcella Neis autoed to Greenwood Sunday afternoon to visit the former’s parents, J. Quast and wife.

Ben Dudei and Amelia Hillert of Granton were here Sunday to visit his brother, August, and family and other relatives.

Helen Schroeder and Tilla Mitte called on Marcella Neis one evening last week.

Mrs. Esther Fuller and baby of Barron came Saturday to visit her sister, Mrs. Linus Prock, and Sunday she went to Greenwood to visit her parents, J. Quast and wife.

Frank Keller of Pine Valley commenced mason work here Monday on the new Lutheran parsonage which will be built this summer.

Mrs. John Prock and son Francis spent Sunday with her mother in Neillsville.
