Houlehan, John Bernard (19 Apr. 1896 - 21 Jan. 1947)

Funeral services for Dr. John Bernard Houlehan, 50, who died after a prolonged illness, Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m. will be held at Milan, Friday morning. A requiem high mass will be sung at 9:00 o’clock at St. Thomas’ Catholic church, by the Rev. Raymond Schultz, after which the body will be taken to Green Bay for internment in Allonuez cemetery.

John Bernard Houlehan was born April 19, 1896, at Hurley. He was married to Miss Hazel Bunkelman in 1925 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dr. Houlehan, who was a member of the American Dental Society, retired from his work as dentist ten years ago and made his home in Milwaukee since then.

He leaves his widow, one brother, Dr. B. D. Houlehan, Green Bay; and three sisters, Miss Irene Houlehan and Mrs. O. H. Lerum, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Kathryn Bellhumeur, of Rhinelander.
