Dahl, Norma E. (7 Mar. 1926 - 30 Apr. 2009)

LOYAL -- Norma E. Dahl, 83, of Loyal, died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center Health & Rehab, Neillsville.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal, and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Norma Elizabeth Herdrich was born March 7, 1926, in Loyal, the daughter of Reno and Elsie (Luchterhand) Herdrich. She was united in marriage Oct. 16, 1946, to Harold W. Dahl at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal.

She had worked at John Wuethrich Creamery Company, later Grassland Dairy Products Inc. She received an award for 50 years of service from Grassland Dairy Products, and received special recognition for 60 years of service to the company. Norma continued working part time until retiring in June 2008.

She is survived by her husband, Harold, of Neillsville; two children, Roger A. (Cheryl) Dahl of Chippewa Falls and Anna L. (Thomas) Bluem of Buffalo City; four grandchildren and one great-grandson; two sisters, Margaret Zimmerman of Stratford and Veryl (Richard) Holmes of Wausau; two brothers, Harold (Janice) Herdrich of Ashland, Ore., and Robert (Dorothy) Herdrich of Eau Claire.
