Pomeroy, Nellie (30? JUN 1908)

Miss Nellie Pomeroy and Mr. George Pratt were married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pomeroy, in Independence, Tuesday, the Rev. D. J. Becker of the Dallas Presbyterian Church officiating.

The wedding was a quiet affair, only a few o the immediate friends and relatives of the young couple being present. The bride was dressed in a neat and tasteful traveling suit. Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Pratt left on the 2 o’clock train for Chelan Lake, Wash., where they will spend their honeymoon.

They will make their home in Okanagan, Wash., where Mr. Pratt is engaged in business.

(Mr. Pratt was a former Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) boy, was a member of Co. A. and left here for the west in 1897)
