Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Quimby and daughter of Globe spent Sunday evening at the Kalkofen home.

Mr. and Mrs. N.W. Scherer of Greenwood spent Wednesday with Geo. Scherer and family.

A large number from Eaton Center attended the Federation picnic at Marshfield Saturday. They all declare the day well spent.

Little Miss Eva Kalkofen, after spending the past three weeks in Antigo, returned to her home here Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Scherer and children were Globe callers Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kocher and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Syth left Saturday for Milwaukee to attend the State Fair.

Miss Capitol Palmeter, who spent the summer here, left for Stratford Friday.

Pearl and Graham Poirier returned home from Doo County, where they had spent the past few weeks picking cherries.
