Greenwood Gleaner‏ (Greenwood, Clark County, Wis.) 8 June 1900
Eidsvold
The farm residence of Jas. Jordan one mile southeast of here, together with most of the contents burned last Thursday afternoon. The loss aside from the building was about $1,500, which is shared about equally between Mr. Jordan and a widowed daughter, Mrs. Steece, the latter having a large amount of furniture, etc. stored in the upper story of the building. A piano, sewing machine and a few articles of lesser value were saved. Mr. Jordan will rebuild as soon as possible.
Grandma Dedrick has so far recovered from her long illness as to be able to get out of doors again.
