George Murphy was a Curtiss visitor Sunday.

 

Harold Hoffmann left Monday for southern California where he will remain until April.

 

Miss Bernice Sybeldon, who has been visiting in Chicago the past week returned home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schwen of Marshfield visited at the August ?thelfeldt home Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Juneau and son of Chippewa Falls, called at the John Olson home Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Olson and Harold Casperson of Neenah, and Otto Jackson of Milwaukee were guests at the Walter Jackson home Christmas day.

 

Ruth and Helen Ingersoll were Marshfield callers Monday.

 

One of the recent new subscribers is J. E. Haugner, Seattle, Wash.

 

Miss Grace Daley entertained a few friends at cards Monday evening.

 

Floyd Emery of Reesburg, was a week end guest at the John Olson home.

 

Mrs. L. Neitzel and daughter are visiting with her parents at Curtiss this week.

 

Mrs. Jack Weideman left Tuesday for Menominee to visit relatives a few days.

 

Theodore Miland of Eau Claire, was the guest of Warner Berry over the week end.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fults motored to Clark Tuesday to call on Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Perry.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lupient and daughters of Curtiss, visited at the Fred Moecker home Sunday.

 

Lawrence Van and a friend from Green Bay were here Sunday to visit his mother, Mrs. Lena Van.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Stock of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Meyer and son, and Mr. and Mrs. August Stock of Colby, visited at the Peter Wilbert home Friday.

 

Mrs. A. E. Everts writes us from 2828 Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee: "I am sending check for $1.50 for which kindly renew my subscription. We enjoy getting news from the old home town."

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Whaples and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Gust. Arndt spent Thursday at the Fred Walhardt home in Stetsonville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. August Schuler and Mr. and Mrs. Hans Amacher were dinner guests at the Chas. Krone home Sunday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fricke and family of Cherokee, visited Thursday at the home of his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Demand.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnston and son Trueman of Minneapolis, visited with the G. B. Johnston and A. J. Meyers home over the week end.

 

Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Cornelius and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wescott attended a birthday party at Colby Tuesday evening in honor of Carl Mundt.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Heiser of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. George Heiser of greenwood, were Christmas guests at the Edgar Sorenson home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Felix McCabe of Missouri, Montana, were holiday guests at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe McCabe.

 

Miss Eva Barker, who is spending the winter with her niece, Mrs. Cecil De?hler at Park Falls, called on friends here Sunday.

 

Several of the neighbors and friends helped Mr. Owen Hughes celebrate his eighty-third birthday anniversary Wednesday.

 

Mrs. G. A. Christiansen of Menominee and Miss Lavina Christiansen of Minneapolis are visiting at the P. W. Bird home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hinke and family spent Christmas at the home of Mrs. Hinke’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Hunt at Dorchester, Wis.

 

Maurice Hutt made the trip from Abbotsford to Paterson, Louisiana in two and one-half days and says he had a wonderful trip.

 

Mrs. Frank Beil left Tuesday morning for Miles City, Montana where she will spend the winter at the home of her parents.

 

Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Sorenson and son Dale of Dorchester called at the Fred Moecker home Saturday.

 

Anita Hunt of Dorchester spent several days this week with her sister, Mrs. Chas. Hinke and family.

 

Miss Mildred Blake visited at the Clarence Rouse home at Stevens Point the fore part of the week.

 

The Library Club will held their annual meeting a the home of Mrs. Paul Waech, Friday, January 9th.

 

Miss Audrey LeClaire, who attends nursed training school at Fond du Lac, is home for a weeks vacation.

Thomas Stadola spent Christmas at Eau Claire.

Mrs. Guy Havens spent Thursday at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
