Witt, Frieda (Marriage - 9 May 1947)

Miss Frieda Witt, Yeoman second class, daughter of Mrs. Leonora Witt, Abbotsford, and William Kolczycki AM 1/c, son of Mrs. Mary Kolczycki, Bound Brook, N.J., exchanged wedding vows at the B. A. Carters home, May 9, at Corpus Christi, Texas.

Attendants were Ida Dolores Scott, of California, and James E. Hicks, AM 3/c, of Pennsylvania. For the ceremony the two couples wore the white summer uniform. The bride’s was accented by a corsage of gardenias and the maid of honor by pink carnations. The bridal couple and their attendants are stationed at the naval air station, Corpus Christi, Texas.

After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the Famous Dragon Grill in Corpus Christi.

The young couple left on a wedding trip to McAllen, Texas, and on across the border to Reynosa, Mexico, and are now at home to friends at 2305 Buford street, Corpus Christi.
