Beyreis, Phyllis #2 (12 MAY 1945)
At an 8:30 nuptial high mass last Saturday morning in St. Anthony’s Catholic church here, Miss Phyllis Beyreis and Clemens Loos, both of Loyal were united in marriage. The Rev. Alois Zinthefer officiated.
Attendants at the wedding were Miss Dorothy Rogstad and Francis Elsinger, both of Loyal. A navy blue gabardine suit was worn by the bride, and she carried a white rosary. Miss Rogstad was attired in a fuchsia suit. Both had corsages of white carnations.
Immediate relatives and friends attended the wedding ceremony, and at noon a dinner was served for 30 guests at the bride’s home, which was decorated with lavender and white streamers for the occasion. A decorated wedding cake centered the bridal table. In the evening a wedding dance was held at the Wiedenhoeft pavilion near Colby, Wis.
The bride, a graduate of the Loyal high school with the class of 1941, has been employed at Wepfer’s Pharmacy here for the past three years. She and her husband, who graduated from St. Anthony’s Catholic school in 1936, will farm on route two, Loyal.
Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Beyreis of Marshfield, parents of the bride; Mrs. Schnell of Kiel, grandmother of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Kayhart of Stratford, grandparents of the bride, and Miss Dorothy Loos of Chicago, sister of the groom.
The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
