Sailer, Florence (Marriage - 1 May 1948)

Miss Florence Sailer, daughter of Mrs. Clara Sailer, Dorchester, and Milton Mueller, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mueller, Abbotsford, exchanged marriage vows, Saturday afternoon, May 1. The double ring ceremony was performed by Justice of Peace C. V. Hinke at the Mueller home at 2:00 o’clock.

For the occasion the bride wore a light blue gabardine suit with white accessories, and a corsage of red and white roses.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Patrie, Eau Claire, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, and Miss Winnifred Sailer, Dorchester, sister of the bride, and John Bitter, Abbotsford, Wis.

Mrs. Patrie wore a tan suit with black accessories, and Miss Sailer’s was of light beige. They wore corsages of pink and white carnations.

For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Sailer wore a black suit and Mrs. Mueller wore a gray flowered dress. Both mothers had corsages of white carnations.

Following the ceremony, a reception, attended by 50 guests, was held at the home of the bride’s mother.

Mr. and Mrs. Mueller left on a honeymoon trip to northern Wisconsin. They are now at home to friends at Abbotsford where Mr. Mueller is employed at the Abbotsford Hardware store.
