Kellner, William Frederick (17 Jan. 1880 - 16 July 1948)

Funeral services were held Monday for William Frederick Kellner, 68, who died unexpectedly at his home in the town of Holton, Friday. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated at the services at St. Peter’s Lutheran church at Dorchester and burial was made in Medford Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. Kellner lived in the town of Deer Creek from 1912 until 1920, when he moved to the town of Holton, east of Dorchester, Wis. He was born at Damer, province of Schlesien, Germany, Jan. 17, 1880, and came to the United States in 1892. He first settled in Outagamie county, where he was married to Marie Kohler in 1908. He lived in Appleton for four years until 1912.

His first wife preceded him in death in 1914, and he was married to Helen Beilfuss, in Medford, in 1916. He was a director of the Farmers’ Union Shipping associations at one time, and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran church at Dorchester, Wis.

Surviving him are his wife, and five children, Raymond, Abbotsford; Mrs. Julius (Frieda) Emrick, Milwaukee; Mrs. Ray (Viola) Weideman, Sturgeon Bay; Walter and Myrtle at home. Two grand children also survive.
