Knaack, Harry (21 Aug. 1886 - 29 Jan. 1949)

Funeral services for Harry Knaack, who died Saturday morning at his home at Jerkwater, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church at Dorchester, Wis. Internment was made in the church cemetery. The Rev. Fred W. Kollath was the officiating minister.

Harry Knaack, who operated a tavern at Jerkwater for many years, lived in that vicinity almost all his life, having been brought there at the age of one year from Braddock, Pa., where he was born Aug. 21, 1886. Mr. Knaack had been in poor health about a year.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Emma) Frank, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Minnie Hines, of New York state, and a brother, Charles of Owen. Two brothers, Ed and Albert, died in service during World War I.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Knaack, of Owen, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Frank, of Minneapolis, were among those attending the funeral.
