Keller, Geraldine (Marriage - 1949)

The rectory of St. Bernard’s Catholic church, Abbotsford, was the scene of the marriage of Miss Geraldine Keller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Keller, to Alfred Edblom, son of Arthur Edblom, Unity, on Saturday, Oct. 8. The Rev. Raymond Schulz officiated at the 1:30 o’clock ceremony.

The bride chose a beige suit with brown accessories for the occasion. Her corsage was made of red carnations.

Miss Joan Keller, serving as her sister’s maid of honor, wore a forest green suit and forest green accessories. Her corsage of yellow and red carnations completed her ensemble. The bridesmaids, Miss Janice Alexander, Owen, niece of the groom, Mrs. Herbert Schilling, Abbotsford, and Miss Eileen Keller, sisters of the bride, wore grey, dark brown, and smoke grey suits, respectively. They had forest green accessories and wore corsages.

Attending the groom were John Dittner, Madison; Alvin Edblom, Colby, brother of the groom, Herbert Schilling, Abbotsford, brother-in-law of the bride, and Roger Kobs, Colby, Wis.

A reception was held and dinner was served at the Curtiss hall, and in the evening a dance was held at Walter’s Pavilion, Colby, Wis.

After the couple return from a honeymoon through the southern states they will reside on a farm in Unity, Wis.

Those who attended the wedding came from Chicago, Madison, Reedsburg, Cross Plains, Middleton, Richland Center, Cazenovia, Oshkosh, Loyal, Greenwood, Owen, Spencer, Withee, Dorchester, Thorp, Colby, Unity, Abbotsford, and Marshfield.
