Lisiecki, Rose (29 MAR 1907 - 17 DEC 1953)

Mrs. Rose Lisiecki, aged 46 years, 8 months and 18 days passed away on Dec. 17th, 1953 with a stroke after being sick the past year and a half.

Rose Schmidt was born at Thorp on March 29, 1907.

On Oct. 28, 1937, she was united in marriage to Mr. John Lisiecki and lived on a farm in the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.). No children were born to this union.

Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Schmidt, preceded her in death.

Surviving relatives are her husband, John Lisiecki, two sisters, Sr. Mary Hermes O.S.F. of Milwaukee, and Eleanor) Mrs. Geo. F. Schmidt of Thorp, five brothers Reubin of Dorchester, Melvin of Milwaukee, Arthur of Chisholm, Minn., Hermiss and Ed of Thorp.

Funeral services were held on Monday, dec. 21, at 9:30 at St. Bernard’s Church with Rev. A. M. Muckerheide officiating. Interment was made in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Chas. Gutowski, Elmer Kuester, Stanley Malasuk, Stanley Lendosky, Chas. Jasinski and Mike Lockbaum.

Those from out of town attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Schmidt and family, Sr. Mary Hermes, O.S.F., Mr. and Mrs. Pete Nemetz, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lisiecki, Mr. Joe Lisiecki, Mrs. John Borowski, Mrs. Caroline Butrym and Mr. Alex Lisiecki, all of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schmidt and son of Chisholm, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Reubin Schmidt of Dorchester, Mrs. Erving Primeau and son of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Art Harris of Lake Geneva, Wis., Mrs. Anna Gibsen, Mrs. Pete Benzschawel, Mr. Matt Moehn, and Mr. Mike Kleopple of Hilbert, Wis., Mrs. Marie Breske, Mrs. Gilbert Ploeger, Mrs. Irma Padke, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vanderkoog, Mr. Bernard Buss, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Verkuilen and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schairer Jr., all of Eland, Wis.
