Westfall, Lizzie #2 (28 JUL 1909)

 

A very pretty and pleasing event was the marriage on Wednesday evening, July 28th, 1909, at the residence of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Geo. Griffin, Stirling, Ontario, of Miss Lizzie Westfall, formerly of Campellford, Ont., to Mr. Haken Hansen of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.).  The bride was charming in a gown of pale blue silk and wool cricket cloth, cut on princess, and carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink roses.  Mr. Geo. Griffin, brother-in-law of the bride, gave her away.  Miss Ethel Brown of Bayside, in white India lawn, was bridesmaid, while Carrie Griffin of Stirling, and Mamie Ibey of Glen Miller, nieces of the bride, in white silk dresses, made sweet little flower girls.  The groom was supported by Mr. Frank Westfall of Trenton, Ont., brother of the bride; the ceremony being performed by the Rev. H. Lenord Phelps of Stirling, Ont., after which the party repaired to the lawn where a dainty luncheon was served.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hansen left on the 7:45 train on Thursday morning for Chicago and Milwaukee enroute to their future home at Neillsville, Wis., following by….(the rest of mine was unreadable)
