Mundt, Robert (14 OCT 1870 - 11 OCT 1909)

Monday morning Robert Mundt died at his home in the town of Fremont (Clark Co., Wis.) after an illness of several years duration.  He was born in Calumet County, Wis., on Oct. 14, 1870, and came with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mundt, to the town of Fremont in 1882.  On July 4, 1900, he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Henning, and to this union two daughters were born, Viola and Virene.

Mr. Mundt was an excellent citizen and a hard working industrious man.  He was temperate and well dispositioned, and he had a large circle of friends.  About a year ago he underwent an operation in a Milwaukee hospital for cancer, and since that time he has gradually failed until death relieved his sufferings.  The funeral was held yesterday at Chili.

Mr. Mundt is survived by his parents, wife and children and four brothers, John of Marathon County, William of this city, Richard of Chili and Charles of the town of Fremont, and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Thompson of Milwaukee and Mrs. Tillie Brandt of London, England.
