Youmans, Beth #2 (29 DEC 1909)

At nine o’clock this evening (Wednesday) will occur the marriage of Lieut. Clarence Sturdevant and Miss Beth Youmans.  The wedding will be solemnized at the home of the bride’s mother and the ceremony will be performed by Rev. Hendren of Greenwood.  Miss Viola Youmans, a sister of the bride, and Bernard Ferguson of Minneapolis will attend the bridal couple.  Only the relatives and intimate friends of the couple will be in attendance, and Mr. and Mrs. Sturdevant will leave on the midnight train for Washington, D. C., where they will make their home for present.

Mr. Sturdevant is a Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) young man of whom the entire community is proud, and his career in the army will be watched here with keen interest.  He is at present stationed at Washington for purpose of taking further work in engineering, of which department of the army he is attached.  His bride is a young lady of unusual attainments, a most pleasant disposition and winning manners.  She has been a teacher in the public schools for several terms.  Mr. and Mrs. Sturdevant’s many friends here extend their heartiest best wishes for them for their future welfare and happiness.
