The bride was presented in marriage by her brother Franklin Kraut.

Donald Kraut, brother of the bride, Curtiss, acted as best man.  John and Louis Cattanach, brothers of the bridegroom, served as ushers.

At five o’clock that evening a dinner and reception were held at the Owen Community Hall for immediate members of the bridal couple’s families.  The tables of the main dining room were decorated with bouquets of pink and white snapdragons, white mums and pink carnations.
