Elem Canfield had the misfortune of getting one of his hands smashed while at work in the heading mill, so that amputation was necessary.

A. L. Snyder and Misses Jennie and Myrta Osgood went over to York on their wheels last Sunday.

The Woodmen had a dance in their hall last Saturday evening.

Haying will soon begin. It won't be very heavy.
