Lavine, Adolph (3 Feb. 1886 - 26 July 1951)

 

OWEN, WIS. -- Funeral services for Adolph Lavine, 65, Owen, who died Friday evening at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, after an extended illness, were held Tuesday afternoon in Chippewa Falls. Burial was made in the Riverside cemetery west of Withee.

 

For the past 30 years he had resided in Owen. In 1909 he started work for the Soo Line railway and since 1919 he had been depot agent at Owen.

 

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Gerald, Madison; Melvin, Chippewa Falls; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Kuehnast, Chippewa Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Wrisek and Mrs. John Roeland, both of Merrill, and eight grand children.
